Weather Station Total Solar Radiation Sensor (RS485)

Model NA-DG-144
Price on request
An add-on sensor for the NARA weather station that measures total solar radiation across the 0.3–3 µm (300–3,000 nm) spectrum. It connects over RS485 to an RS485-to-LoRaWAN converter or the weather-station controller, which forwards the readings to NARA. Solar radiation is a core input for calculating evapotranspiration and crop water demand, so it directly improves irrigation scheduling. It is also used to assess solar energy potential, monitor greenhouse heat load and build long-term climate records for farms and research sites.
